The VIRTEON trademark was filed with the French INPI (application No. 5249625, published May 2026); registration is pending.
2026 — Virtualized protection proven on SEAPATH
An operational prototype demonstrated multi-zone distance protection and backup functions running virtualized on SEAPATH, validated end-to-end over the IEC 61850 process bus across dozens of fault scenarios.
2026 — Company launched
VIRTEON Technology was established to build the open, software-defined platform for substation protection and control, built on SEAPATH and the LF Energy ecosystem.
